Engagement rate and sponsorship fee calculators for creator campaigns. Uses only numbers you type.

== Description ==

Two calculators for creator campaigns. They run from the figures a visitor types. Nothing is looked up, stored, or sent to another service.

**Engagement rate** divides likes and comments by followers, by views, or by reach. An Instagram rate by views also counts shares. A rate by reach also counts saves. TikTok counts likes, comments, and shares, and leaves saves out. When the boxes are totals, they are divided by the number of posts first.

An Instagram rate by followers is compared with a working screen for that follower size. The screen is a question, not a count of fake accounts.

**Sponsorship fee** is median views ÷ 1,000 × CPM × a niche factor. If views are left blank, a stated share of followers is used and the result says so. The low and high marks are 70% and 140% of that sketch. An optional quoted fee is shown back as a CPM.

Default CPMs are 12 for an Instagram Reel, 8 for a TikTok video, and 25 for a YouTube integration. Default view rates, used only when median views are blank, are 30%, 40%, and 10% of followers. Change the CPM in the form. Currency changes the symbol only. It does not convert money.

The formulas are the same planning sums as the free tools at [Indecent Media](https://indecentmedia.com/tools). Download the plugin from [https://indecentmedia.com/wordpress](https://indecentmedia.com/wordpress). This plugin does not contact that site.

The calculators are not legal, financial, or platform-policy advice. A fee is not a price a creator has agreed to.

= Shortcodes =

`[crcalc]` shows both calculators.

`[crcalc_engagement]` shows the engagement rate calculator.

`[crcalc_fee]` shows the sponsorship fee calculator.

Optional attributes:

* `platform` — `instagram`, `tiktok`, or `youtube`. YouTube applies to the fee calculator. The engagement calculator treats it as Instagram.
* `method` — `followers`, `views`, or `reach`. Reach applies to Instagram only.
* `niche` — `general`, `beauty`, `fashion`, `fitness`, `food`, or `gaming`.
* `currency` — `USD`, `GBP`, or `EUR`.
* `title` — replaces the heading on that one calculator.

Example: `[crcalc_fee platform="tiktok" niche="beauty" currency="EUR"]`

JavaScript shows the result without reloading the page. With JavaScript off, the form still calculates and returns to the same calculator.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does the plugin call Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Indecent Media? =

No. A calculation uses only the numbers in the form. The plugin does not contact those sites, and it is not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. Those names describe the kind of post the formula is for.

= Does it store what visitors type? =

No. With JavaScript on, the calculation stays in the browser. Without JavaScript, the numbers are sent to your own site in the page address, the way a search form is, and your host may keep that address in its logs. The plugin does not write them to the database. Calculator addresses are marked noindex.

= Is the sponsorship fee a quote? =

No. It is a planning sketch from the views and CPM you enter. The low and high marks are 70% and 140% of that sketch, for negotiation. They are not a survey of signed deals.

= Will this load on every page? =

The stylesheet and script load on views that contain a calculator shortcode, and on the Tools screen. A page without the shortcode does not load them.

= What is left behind if I delete the plugin? =

Nothing. The plugin does not create options, tables, or files.

= Where do I get help? =

Use the support forum for this plugin on WordPress.org.
