How this is calculated
Instagram by followers uses likes plus comments. By views it adds shares. By reach it adds shares and saves. TikTok uses likes, comments, and shares for both rates. Saves stay out of the TikTok rate.
When the boxes are totals, the calculator divides by the number of posts first, then by followers, reach, or views. One viral post still moves an average. The median, from the average views calculator, is the safer briefing number.
Do not compare a TikTok rate by views with an Instagram rate by followers. They divide by different things.
